  4. Changes since version 2.35  No new features - minor bug fixes only.

  6. Fixed bug that did not display temporary location correctly when clicking on the 
  7. map on sunrise and sundial screens.

  9. Fixed bug that did not update system clock on close after changing home location
  10. from analog or digital clocks screen.
  11.  
  12. Changes since version 2.34  No new features - bug fixes and internal changes only.

  14. Fixed bug that showed incorrect home location on Day/Night Time Strips screen.

  25. zone is UT + 5:45.  Time differentials should now be correct when you select one

  30. Rigged for continuous running...  For those of you who start HourWorld and 
  31. keep it running for days, weeks, and months, HourWorld will now update the
  32. date at the top of the window.

  34. Improved the version upgrade process... When a new version is run for the first
  35. time, it will merge your old database into the new, keeping all your changes.

  41. Updated daylight saving rule for Australia.  Fixed bug that kept changes to DST
  42.   rules from being saved.  Fixed a related bug that kept users from manually setting

  47. Bug fixes only - no new features. Bugs fixed were related to using HourWorld on
  48.   computers with more than one monitor or display connected.

  53. Size menu on Preferences Dialog now permits sizing for the maximum monitor 
  54.   size connected in multiple monitor configurations, not just for the main monitor.

  64. Added a new display optimized for 1024 x 768 screens.  This new display uses a
  65.   larger map image with higher resolution, and features nine clocks.

  68.   the user's time zone instead of Los Angeles.

  70. Added a new feature to the Sundial screen that displays the percentage of current
  71. solar radiation compared to 100% when the sun is directly overhead.

  89. Added North Pole and South Pole as database locations, and fixed Day/Night Time
  90.   Strips to give appropriate twilight graphics at or near the poles.  Since time zones
  91.   are meaningless at the poles, both North Pole and South Pole are set to Universal
  92.   Time with no daylight saving.  To use a different reference time at one of the poles
  93.   (you might want to use New Zealand time at the South Pole if your supply aircraft 
  94.   comes from there), use the Edit... button on the Location Settings display to change 
  95.   the time zone.

  97. Fixed a recently-introduced bug in the Remove Location routine that prevented the
  98.   removal of locations from the database.

  100. Added a feature to the GPS display that draws big red Xs on the locations when
  101.   GPSy has lost a valid fix.  (This might happen when you hit a bump and the GPS
  102.   unit falls off the dash and onto the floor, or when you drive into a parking garage).
  103.   This new feature works whenever GPSy 3.20 or later or GPSy Pro 0.83 or later 
  104.   reports "No Locational Fix".

  108. Changes since version 2.12

  110. Added Day/Night Time Strips display to the HourWorld Display menu, and adjusted
  111.   documentation.  This feature was available in the software in previous versions via
  112.   a preferences item to use it in place of the Phone Call Coordinator.  Some users
  113.   complained that it was too hard to find and activate, so it is much easier now.  Both 
  114.   the Call Coordinator and Day/Night Time Strips are now easily accessible from the 
  115.   main menu.

  117. Added Day/Night Time Strips as an additional default window option for program 
  118.   startup.

  120. Made a cosmetic change to the Phone Call Coordinator.

  122. Expanded the database size from a possible 400 locations to a possible 600, and

  127. Tested the software with pre-release version 0.82 of GPSy™ Pro.  All works fine,
  128.   except HourWorld still presents a valid-looking GPS display when GPS signal is 
  129.   lost.  GPSy™ shows signal loss properly, but HourWorld does not.  Good reason
  130.   not to use HourWorld as your only navigation aid!!  Anticipate this issue being fixed 
  131.   in the next release.

  134. Changes since version 2.11

  136. Recompiled with MetroWerks CodeWarrior Professional version 4, using new 
  137.   Universal Headers for System 8.5 compatibility.

  139. Added additional years both back and ahead to the Year menu.  Years now go back
  140.   five and ahead 10.  Base year for the Year menu is obtained from the system clock
  141.   when HourWorld™ starts up, so in 1999 the base year in the year menu will be
  142.   1999, etc.

  150. Added minutes to the time strip at the top of the map (effective for VGA and SVGA
  151.   sizes only, due to space limitations).  The time strip reflects the use of daylight or
  152.   standard time at the lome location.  Users are reminded that the time strip at the top
  153.   of the map is approximate only, as it is not possible to give one time at the top of a map 
  154.   that is followed by all locations beneath.  Alternate red and blue coloring is used for
  155.   increased readability.

  157. Added a new Time menu that gives time in AMPM format when AMPM is selected
  158.   as the time format in the preferences (AMPM is the default format when HourWorld
  159.   is downloaded).  Format changes in the Time menu take place the next time HourWorld
  160.   is opened after changing the time format preference.

  162. Fixed display of minute advance on the time setting portion of the screen where location
  163.   settings are changed.  A screen-drawing delay made it appear that the minute changed
  164.   when the seconds showed 01.  Now the minute changes correctly when the seconds
  165.   show 00.

  173.   package to save download time.  99% of purchasers now are using Power Macs, 
  174.   and want HourWorld instead of WorldClock. WorldClock DA is still available for

  232.     control panel and date/time stamping in email applications.  HourWorld™ now
  233.     assumes that daylight saving time, when it effect, is one hour ahead of standard
  234.     time.  This is an oversimplification as some locations in the world use 30 minutes
  235.     and others use two hours, but it should produce less confusion for those who use
  236.     both Date & Time and HourWorld™ to set their machine location.

  271.     while on any screen.  Display should reset to proper display for the new date.
  272.   Added a user-adjustable reticle to the Call Coordinator display.  This should
  273.     allow for easier visualization.  When starting up the first time, the new
  274.     reticle (blue) appears to the far right.   To reposition it, click where you want
  275.     it.  The new position is remembered and should be the same the next time
  276.     you launch the program.
  277.   GPS testing continues to show the program stable with GPSy™, System 8.1,
  278.     and my PowerBook G3.
